I put my heart into the music I play, whether it is a movie soundtrack, another singer-songwriter’s work, or an ad for a new talk show.
I have a passion for giving my all to a project, and getting it just right. For reaching inside and pulling out something that crosses to your ears and makes you feel something deeply.
I am dedicated to bringing beauty back to the music you hear — beauty of tone, beauty of lines, beauty of performance. I think kindness, caring, and dedication is beautiful, too, and we all need more of that.
Yes, I went to Juilliard since age 10. Yes, I graduated with both a Bachelors and Masters from that famous school. Yes, I’ve played jazz on stage with Arturo O’Farrill and Vince Giordano’s Nighthawks, and many other jazz greats. Yes, I’ve played with orchestras all over the US and all over the world.
But music is more than just executing notes perfectly, in time and in tune. It is telling a story, YOUR story. It is about being heard and understood. It is about feeling and connecting.
