I really love to collaborate musically with people. Music has always been the way for me to best express myself and connect with other people and I really love helping other people realize their artistic visions for their music and voice. I'm also a drum teacher, so there's definitely an overlap in both domains. As a session drummer, just like as a teacher, I'm really trying to help the artist communicate the primary purpose and message of the song. I always love reading lyrics and discussing narrative and artistic vision. Understanding these elements of your track really helps me to make intentional choices about gear selection, drum tuning, part writing, mic placement, stereo image, etc.

Outside of playing acoustic drums I also use Ableton Live for music production and have a lot of experience producing electronic music, especially drums. I also use Sensory Percussion to make samples more expressive, so if you're looking for a more unique electronic drumming quality in your track we can totally make that happen.
