From 2014 Alexander is based in Sofia focusing on writing and playing with his own projects, most notably Space Kadillak and the Minimum Quartet. Also he is one of the “go to” guitarists for sideman work in Bulgaria, appearing often with popular local artists, playing in TV shows, playing with big bands and teaching music. In 2015 his band Logo3o won the award for best band at the Braila Jazz Festival. In 2018 one of his co-led projects Lilly Ilieva and the Minimum quartet put out their debut album, which includes some of Alex’s original music.
