As a lifelong musician based out of the San Francisco Bay Area Matias has a multitude of works both as an engineer and composer. With credits like Incubus, Alien Ant Farm, Fiona Apple, Alicia Keys, Usher, and more, he has over a decade of experience as a studio recording and mixing engineer.

Matias had the opportunity to intern and work with producer Jim Wirt (Incubus, Alien Ant Farm, Hoobastank, Jacks Mannequin). Here he engineered up-and-coming artists from the area and put out a multitude of full-length EPs with the production team under Warner Records.

He is best known for his ability to work with a wide range of genres. From Rock to Hip-Hop, his mixes are characterized by their punchy "glued" sound.
Alongside his engineering career, Matias is also an avid composer for multi-media content. He recently had the privilege of working on the feature-length documentary Rock Solid, submitted to Cannes Film Festival. Whether it be trailers, commercials, or full-length films, Matias's diverse compositional style is sure to suit the needs of any project at hand.

Now, Matias contracts for tech companies like Meta and Apple doing post production mixes for their product advertisements. If you've seen an Apple ad on your phone or TV, it was likely mixed by him.
