Max Wiltse is a Los Angeles based percussionist, educator, and that has been playing and performing for 10 years. Combining multiple styles of drumming into a unique blend combining groove, chops, touch, and phrasing. A wide knowledge of genres ranging from pop, country, rock, funk, to jazz, latin, and fusion, Max is able to learn music and adapt to new situations quickly.

A graduate of Belmont University, Max learned to be a proficient and skilled musician. On top of learning the technical side of music, he has spent lots of time in preparation for gigs and rehearsals, music direction, transcription, charting, and recording. Spending a majority of his time in the studio, a fascination in sounds has allowed him to match any sound and styles a producer or artist wants.

With performance experience ranging from small jazz clubs, diy venues, back yards, clubs, festivals, and stadiums with small jazz groups, big bands, rock bands and The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, Max has experience in playing various venues of all sizes. Traveling and touring is a second nature.

Recording with the likes of Zachary Scott Kline, Jack Shields, Ergo Bria, and many more, Max is ready for anything you wish to record.
