Mitchell is a professional guitarist based in Georgia. Since he can remember, Mitchell has always been involved in music. He started learning how to play the violin at a young age, but pretty soon the guitar caught his eye and he couldn't put it down. After playing various instruments in various bands in high school, he went on to commit his studies to the guitar. He obtained a music performance degree from the University of Georgia, with an emphasis on the classical guitar. However, his pursuit of mastering the guitar spans all genres. While in Athens, Georgia, he performed with many artists, bands, and theatre productions and sat in on multiple recording sessions, all requiring him to be proficient on acoustic, electric, and classical guitar. His main musical projects since graduating from UGA have been his family band, The Powers, and his solo music-both projects have music out on most streaming platforms. He currently lives in Augusta, GA where he continues his music career.
