I am a musician, music producer, composer, and sound artist, born in Brazil and based in Belgium for the past 4 years.
My creative instinct and curiosity have led me to explore various artistic languages and techniques over the past 27 years. My main instruments are drums and percussion, but I also have skills with keyboard and string instruments. As a musician and music producer, I have always worked with groups, accompanying artists or doing music production. I compose soundtracks for dance, fashion, cinema, and advertising, and also do mixing, mastering, and graphic design for album covers, show posters, etc.
My main genres are world music (especially the more percussive styles), electronic, low-fi, rock, pop, and experimental.
I graduated in Communication from Universidade Tiradentes (Sergipe-Brazil) in 2004. In 2011, I founded Estúdio Ori in Sergipe (Brazil). In 2012, I graduated in audio and music production from Instituto de Áudio e Tecnologia do Rio de Janeiro (IATEC-RJ), and since then I have been collaborating with various artists and groups, either as a musician, music producer, sound engineer, or mixer, between Brazil and Belgium, such as Patricia Polayne, Sandyale, Anavantou, The Baggios, Munsch, Nadir da Mussuca, Membrana and many others.
Currently residing in Belgium, I have set up a studio-atelier where I continue my journey making sound explorations, producing, mixing, and composing for dance, theater, and cinema, and more recently, electro-acoustic and acousmatic pieces, following internship experiences at the Instituto de Música e Pesquisa, with Annette Vande Gorne (Belgium).
