Chris fell in love with music at an early age listening to Frank Sinatra and The Beatles. At age 10 Chris formed his first band and made a demo recording on a dual cassette tape deck. Whilst watching Led Zeppelin’s How The West Was Won DVD, Chris decided he wanted to become a professional musician but was always drawn to the recording side of things. From then, Chris studied music technology at Virginia Tech, worked in studios in Nashville and LA and then started his own business, Sangster Sounds, in 2016. As a producer and mixer, Chris focuses on serving the song and the artist first. Always striving to make the artist’s vision come alive, he uses his deep love of music and knowledge of the technical side of recording to get fantastic results.
