My name is Sebastián Greschuk, Argentine trumpeter, trombonist and composer based in Basel. I was selected to take part in the renowned Focusyear Basel program along with seven international musicians at Jazzcampus Basel during 2020/2021 and after the end of the program I decided to start a master in composition in the same institution. Already the first year I had the honour of being chosen to arrange music for the wind ensemble of the prestigious university MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and also to write original music for the Jazzcampus Big Band. I am graduated from the Jazz career of the Manuel de Falla Superior Conservatory of the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina and I received an Honorable Mention from the National Endowment for the Arts from Argentina in Unpublished music in the Jazz category and I also released my first album entitled "Paisaje" released by the Chicago label, United States Ears & Eyes Records. In 2019 I was chosen as revelation musician by the Argentine media "El Intruso". In August of 2021.
I have worked in many educational institutions, such as EMC (School of Contemporary Music) Berklee International Network as Professor of Trumpet, jazz ensemble, and musical notation and as a private teacher.
I've been touring in Latin America and Europe playing in the most renowned Clubs and Festivals.
