accompanied great icons of música popular brasileira such as Jane
Duboc, Adilson Godoy, Amilson Godoy, Fabiana Cozza, Jonny Alf, Duo German and Jonas Sant'Anna, Alaíde Costa, Filo Machado, Monica Salmaso, Margarete Menezes, Gilberto Gil, Rosa Passos, Fabiana Cozza, Luiz Melodia, Mart'nália, Baby Brazil, Paula Lima, Elba Ramalho, Daniel Taubkin, Max de Castro, Simoninha, Claudio Zoli, Maestro Roberto Sion, Raul de Souza, Bocato Test Tube, Guilherme Vergueiro, and others.
Sidmar has played with many important musicians from the
international scene such as Maria Schneider, Bobby Shew, Ohad Talmor, Greg Gisbert, Tim Hagans, Charlie Porter, Thomas Gansch, Nils Landgren, James Boogaloo, Frank Sinatra Junior, Zalon Thompson, Sax Gordon, Tia Carroll, JJ Jackson, and Donny Nichilo. Vieira has also played in several musicals, including Sweet Charity, and Into the Woods, and the opera Porgy and Bess.
Sidmar has released his first CD with the Sidmar Vieira quintet, entitled "Free" and second CD "Madri Riviaes". Currently, he is part of the Soundscape Big Band, the Symphonic Jazz Orchestra of São Paulo State, Reteté Big Band, . He also plays with the following
