Multi-instrumentalist musician, music producer, live sound and recording technician, Sebastián Klappenbach HeMan, a.k.a. Somos Animales Dub, has actively participated from the year 2000 to date in many projects that today make up the scene of Reggae & Dub in Argentina.
He has participated as a musician in several projects, but above all he has
been a fundamental part of the sound of many bands of the style.
Both at live shows as in a recording studio, he has been summoned to give his imprint and sound characteristic to those who choose it to work, without departing from the essence that each band proposes, giving rise to a very fluid exchange between the artist and the sound engineer, generating
a perfect work climate and thus giving rise to the full development of the potential of each Project.
He currently works at NDN Estudio and in any other studio where he is required. Making live sound, he is a stable part of the Staff of the legendary band La Zimbabwe, with more than 30 years of career; and La Bomba del Ghetto, an emerging band that promises to be the one who carries the Jamaican root reggae flag in the country.
Internationally, he has had the pleasure of making artists sound during his visit to the country.
Jamaicans like Pat Kelly, The Congos, Susan Cadogan, Cedric Myton, Eugene
Grey, Andrew Tosh and Don Carlos. Moonlight Dub Xperience from Costa Rica, Icelandic Mammoth, Brinsley Ford (Aswad) and Dennis Bovell (Matumbi) based in England, have also worked with him during his time in Argentina.
Also operated Sound Systems in the most important and emblematic places in the country such as: Niceto Club, Luna Park, La Trastienda, Roxy Live, Groove, Mandarine Park (Music Wins Fest), CCBA (Personal Fest), Cosquín Rock (Córdoba, Arg.), Taragüi Rock (Corrientes, Arg.)
