A true Nashville native, Adam Stark was born and raised in the heart of Music City. His self-taught stylings are heavily influenced from the blues/rock based legends of the 60’s and 70’s. Stark sites Hendrix, Page, SRV, and The Beatles to be among his largest influences. As a guitar player, songwriter, and producer, Stark’s musical journey has taken him across the gamut of the music industry .
From 2008 through 2013, he was the lead guitar player and a founding member of the independent rock band, The Kicks. The Kicks performed at festivals such as Austin City Limits, South by Southwest, Van’s Warped Tour, and earned opening slots supporting heavyweights such as John Mayer, Rooney, and Los Lonely Boys. In 2011, Stark was approached by Gibson Guitars to be a featured instructor for the company’s online guitar lessons and video tutorials. While working for Gibson, Stark established himself as a professional guitarist as well as a songwriter and producer.
Stark’s songwriting and production works have been featured in major network television shows as well as national advertising campaigns. Such shows include Pretty Little Liars, Vampire Diaries, Franklin and Bash, Bones, Moonshiners, MTV’s Buck Wild, The Real World: Portland, and several others.
In 2013, Stark began his work as a studio session player and freelance guitarist. In 2014, he started touring as the lead guitarist for Grammy-nominated country recording artist David Nail. Stark is currently a songwriter for Sony ATV Music Publishing and a founding member of the alternative pop rock band, Apollo LTD.
