My name is Stephan Laplante and I am from Quebec City, Canada. I’ve been living in Nashville Tennessee and working full time as a professional touring and session guitar player since 2010. I have played for many well known country music artists such as Lindsey Ell, Craig Campbell, Emerson Drive, Clay Walker, Tracy Lawrence, Easton Corbin and Joe Nichols. I am also working full time doing sessions here in town and overdubs for clients online when I'm not gone on tour. I have been very active in the country music scene, but also highly influenced in my playing by blues, rock and pop music. I am a hard worker, punctual in my deadlines, and I am always thinking outside the box musically. I am creative and consider myself a perfectionist. I respond well to pressure and last minute changes and decisions. I trust my ears when it comes to find what part sits well in the mix and serves the song the best. I am versatile and a good planner but most of all very passionate about my work and always play with feel.
