I’m a professional session keyboardist and pianist with 34 years of experience, 27 of them as a working musician. I’ve had the honor of performing with legends such as Wynton Marsalis, Esperanza Spalding, Delfeayo Marsalis, Jimmy Cobb (drummer on Kind of Blue), Ghost-Note, Robert "Sput" Seawright, Paquito D’Rivera, Roy Hargrove, Melissa Aldana, Greg Osby, Mark Turner and many more.
In the more mainstream pop idiom, I have cowriting credits with artists such as Yung Bae (Silver and Gold, L.O.V.E.) and K.H. (Secret Sundays).
I attended the Berklee College of Music on a full scholarship and also spent time teaching in the jazz department at the University of North Texas. Two albums you can hear my extensive keyboard/piano comping and soloing styles are: Ghost Note - "Swagism" and Melissa Aldana - "Free Fall"
I record in my professional home studio using an iMac 2020 (3.6 GHz 10-Core Intel Core i9, 96 GB RAM) and Ableton Live. My setup includes an Apollo Twin X interface, a vast selection of industry-standard software from UA, SSL, Waves, Izotope, and Slate Audio, and an extensive collection of synths, including Serum, Sylenth, Arturia Vintage Synths, UA Moog & Rhodes, and the Korg Legacy Series. I also have access to a Yamaha upright piano and a Steinway Baby Grand, though I often utilize high-quality virtual instruments depending on the project’s needs.
With my professional setup, I provide high-quality recordings with a quick turnaround and the flexibility to meet any deadline.
