Thomas O'Shea, aka TY’O (pronounced "Tie-Oh") is a music producer, composer, audio engineer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. His love for music began at a very young age, with piano. He took interest in the keyboard at the age of 5 and started lessons at age 6. Soon after, he started to sing. With a love for the unusual, Thomas enjoys giving himself challenges and restrictions in different ways including making music with plastic bottles and creating full songs out of minimal equipment (like only using one synth), or even flipping memes and TikTok videos into remixes. Having performed many different genres, Thomas is knowledgeable in many different styles of music spanning from classical to hip hop, pop to alternative and more. His sound can be comparable to artists such as Sickick, Jon Bellion, Marshmello, FredAgain.., and Skrillex. Thomas has been recognized by audio engineers, producers, composers and musicians alike having worked with artists like ILY Truly, Chrissy!, Alyssa Caroline, and Vuski; producers like Daniel Saint (Phora, Lexnour), KXVI (21 Savage, Lil Tjay), and Yousef Semah (21 Savage, $UICIDEBOY$); many of the resulting beats are available on his BeatStars.

Thomas is currently at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh where he has completed his degree in Audio Production and Music Business and is finishing a Certificate in Music Composition and an Honors Thesis. At school, he surrounds himself with music by participating in choir, chamber music, Composition under Dr. Edward Martin and Dr. John Mayrose, and solo piano under Dr. Eli Kalman. Furthermore, he has accompanied his colleagues on premieres of new compositions and other repertoire. He has also written and premiered some of his own classical works. While at school, Thomas has worked with studios, bands, groups and well known entertainment acts as an audio engineer, student, or collaborative musician. Along with school work, Thomas also involves himself in projects outside of the classroom with his friends and colleagues including with his side project Let Them Eat Cake (LTEC) with Lilly Lavon Scott, Zach Valencia, Michael Witteman, Kyle Cvecko, and Jessie Tischaefer. In between semesters, Thomas continues his work with bands, solo acts, and other performers in live settings, studio settings, and remotely.
