Many other people in the music and film world evidently agree, as Saxon's compositions and music videos have earned him over 50 awards from various national and international songwriting contests and film festivals including the 2014 New Hope Film Festival (where he won Best Music Video) and the 2012 World Music And Independent Film Festival in Washington, D.C., where he emerged with the Best Rock Music Video trophy. Jeff was also a multiple category Finalist in the United Kingdom Songwriting Contest in 2020, 2017 and 2015, a Finalist in the 2011 Acoustic Blues Competition at the Telluride Blues Festival (Colorado), and has a number of song placements in film,TV, radio, and video games.

Jeff composed and recorded all the music for an independently-produced sit-com pilot called "Outside The Box." The music runs the stylistic gamut; from Americana to funk, and plays a key role in the project. The pilot, which just won Best TV Pilot awards at the 2020 Austin Indie Fest and the 2020 Studio City Film Festival is currently being shopped to potential programming entities. In 2018, Jeff released his debut uke-driven album, appropriately titled, The Ukulele Project. Much like Jeff's previous works, this collection spans the stylistic gamut; including pop, R&B, jazz, reggae, bossa nova, folk, Americana, and more.
