My Path
I was fortunate enough to earn local celebrity status through my music career, landing collaborations with major names like Young Dirty Bastard from the legendary Wu-Tang Clan. But I didn’t stop there. I wanted to understand how to turn my influence into income, so I dove deep into the technical side of the music industry—learning how to leverage tools and strategies to work smarter and build lasting impact.
Being based in Boston gave me the opportunity to connect with some of the sharpest minds in tech and business. Throughout my journey, I’ve crossed paths with power players—people who helped shape my understanding of both culture and commerce. The amount of knowledge I was able to retain by simply being around such greatness helped me evolve into a true strategist and visionary.
One of those key figures was Frank Turner. My music and my Facebook presence earned me a spot with Frank, and after spending hours talking on the phone with this telecommunications specialist, he molded me in the technical field of communications and text message marketing—helping me understand how to use cutting-edge technology to create business opportunities and grow my brand. This background is why I’m able to grasp these technical aspects so well and use them to my advantage.
Now let’s talk turning points—moments in my journey that were important. I didn’t fully understand Mr. Boch’s life; to me, he was just a cool dude who made robots and liked 600 lb Japanese soaking tubs. I even overbid the first job I quoted him, and he messaged me saying my numbers were off. I measured again, and he was right. I closed Andrew Boch. He had me there for a year doing bathrooms and plumbing—he was kinda my boss for a year. That experience led me to closely follow his career. The whole time, I had no clue what he was really about. I was shocked, especially about his work in sound quality, with me being such a hip-hop head. What started as construction quickly turned into admiration—and inspiration. His influence sparked my own journey into blending sound, technology, and business.
I also had the honor of being mentored by some of the brightest minds in branding and entrepreneurship. I owe my legwork for this one—I attended a seminar at Harvard for 10 hours. I was able to get my music in the hands of Bernt Ullmann and Elle Ullmann, who later introduced me to Brant Pinvidic, creator of Bar Rescue. Their son, Rhett—who I’ve watched grow for many years—now keeps me up to speed in this fast-changing industry. Their insights helped shape how I position myself now, and as the Billy Baggz artist persona. Add it up—it’s a full-scale branding machine. Period.
Out of all the revenue models I explored, nothing hit harder than sales. My best quality is sales. I understand the entire Text Message Marketing game. Bluetooth beaming, geofencing—it’s crazy! I knew that building your audience (or any audience) through events, scraping data, then letting companies tap into that network for promotion… well, well, well—this opened a whole new world to me. I know I’m not just an artist anymore. I’m an industry asset. A different type of beast.
Alongside music, I’m the proud owner of Father and Son Home Improvements, a remodeling business I launched in 2016. With five-star reviews on Angie’s List and Thumbtack, I’ve proven that my hustle translates across industries.
In 2013, I released my debut album, YAFACT VOL 1, now available on Bandcamp.com—a true representation of my early creativity and storytelling.
I’ve also perfected using iMovie and Adobe Photoshop apps and have become an expert at editing music videos—adding even more to my creative arsenal. Beyond music and visuals, I run several monetized social media pages, creating passive income while promoting content that moves culture.
My voice has been featured on platforms like The TC Restani Show, and my journey continues to evolve. I’m currently working with Bill Dad of the Flare company, helping connect culture and community with emerging tech. This is a new chapter in my life, and I’m expanding it using TEDTalks, my story and experience, my vision on how to bridge the gap—taking technology to the streets.

My Brand Philosophy
My journey has been built over the years with the FEEL of Boston at its core. I’ve earned every connection—choosing to attend Harvard to listen to Bernt Ullmann and Kerry Gordy, asking the right questions, and showing up with the true right stuff. That FEEL builds trust.
I’m proud of the relationships I’ve created, because network is net worth only when you produce work that speaks for itself. Every spot I’ve earned in these people’s lives is a testament to my hustle, my authenticity, and my next-level editing skills. This is respect earned, and isn’t by accident. This makes me an asset to serious players. I believe feelings are really powerful and the feel is whats needed. Allow me to open the doors and rooms I’m destined to step into with you.
As I carve out my lane in this game, my goal is to one day add you to my resume.

How Clients Feel
Andrew Boch – February 2017
“It went better than I could have imagined. I originally hired Bill and his team for a chimney removal and roof project, and they exceeded expectations. They were timely, incredibly neat, polite, friendly, and showed real care with everything they did. My tenants even asked if we could have them back—‘Shane is great!’ they said. Since then, they’ve handled our bathroom, washer/dryer install, and now I’m planning a full apartment renovation with them. This is the only team I trust.”
Services Provided:
Chimney removal, roof installation, bathroom renovation, concrete work, drain pipe installation, and washer/dryer hookups.
